I am looking for help. Somewhere between 1956 and 1959 I delivered Newspapers along Liverpool Road and White Moss Road. I delivered to the Knowl Brow Pub. I seem to have a vague recollection of a man (Landlord presumably) asking me did I know who he was, to which I replied No; he then said he was my uncle Stanley, that seems to be all I can remember, in fact I am not sure the event actually took place or not, if it did was it at the Knowl Brow or either 92 or 94 Liverpool Road where other members of my ” Family ” lived. or for some reason have I made it up and can’t recognise fact from fiction. A significant step down the road would be to establish if my Uncle Richard Stanley Molyneux was ever the landlord of the Knowl Brow Pub. in particular between 1956 and 1959. Help, anyone out there. Thanks Dave Molyneux
Hey Guys,
not sure if you may recall but I am Floyd Pitcher, I was in the Knowl Brow back in 1996 and had a smashing time with you guys. Matter of fact I remember one night we didn’t leave till five-thirty am and quite smashed at that.
My brother Gilbert Pitcher is an avid Liverpool Supporter and we used to come over to watch matches and always stopped into the Knowl Brow as it was a stone throw from where we stayed with his good friend Mike Rossitier and his sister Julie.
In any case I trust all is well and look forward to popping in one day just for old times sake.
